We Cover
We work with independent gate fabricators rather than employing fitters, which means the person who quotes for your gate is the person who makes it and installs it. Tell us your postcode and we will match you with whoever covers it.
Photos first, then a price
You do not need to work out who covers your area, and you do not have to wait for a site visit to get a figure. Send your postcode and a few photographs and we will pass it to the right fabricator.
Send photos and sizes
Your postcode, the width of the opening and two or three photographs of the entrance. Attach them to the form or send by WhatsApp once your fabricator makes contact.
We introduce you
Your enquiry goes to the fabricator covering your postcode and they contact you directly, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
You get a provisional price
An informed figure based on what you have sent, so you know whether the project is worth taking further before anyone spends a morning travelling.
Survey, then build and fit
If the figure works, your fabricator visits to measure properly and confirm the detail. Then it is made in their workshop and installed.
Our fabricators
Three independent gate makers, each running their own workshop.
Twelve years fabricating and installing metal gates, working independently since 2023. Specialises in bespoke composite and metal designs, with all fabrication carried out in his own workshop.
Thirteen years fabricating and automating gates, working independently since 2020. Also takes on structural steelwork, car ports and aluminium welding, and installs automated rising bollard systems.
Fabricating since 2012, when he began his apprenticeship with a family-run Scottish gate and railing company. Makes composite and traditional wrought iron gates, along with matching railings, in his own workshop.

Very possibly. The regions with their own pages are where we have written up coverage in detail, not the limit of where our fabricators travel. The counties shown as enquire-only are all within reach. Send us your postcode and we will give you a straight answer either way rather than leaving you guessing.
Do you charge more if I am further away?
Installation is quoted to the same ranges wherever you are within a fabricator's patch. What distance does affect is scheduling — a survey further out takes a little more arranging — and routine servicing, which is naturally easier close to a fabricator's base. We would rather say that plainly than promise a response time we cannot hold to.
Do all your fabricators charge the same?
No. Each sets their own prices and their own entry specification, so a starting figure in one region may represent a larger or higher-specified gate than in another. Each location page shows the figures for that area.
Who actually turns up?
The fabricator themselves. We work with independent gate makers rather than employing fitters, so the person who surveys your property is the person who builds the gate and installs it. Nothing is passed on to a subcontractor.
Does it cost anything to enquire?
No. Enquiries and quotes are free, and there is no obligation to proceed at any point. You are not charged a finder's fee and the price you are quoted is the fabricator's own price.
